The need for promoting women leadership is as important as creating an enabling environment for women to hone their leadership qualities.
Women’s leadership isn’t about gender. It’s about being yourself-your whole self.

Absence of gender equality in leadership positions not only hampers the due progress in every sphere but also costs the global economy substantially. Hence, there is a need to promote women leadership.
Female leaders bring their whole sleeves to their careers. We need to see more women supporting other women and elevating one another in a two-way learning experience.
Leadership should not be defined by gender, but by ability to lead successful enterprises that prioritize profit, employee well-being and make a positive impact.
Recruiting women in various leadership positions by corporate houses and companies on the premises of equal opportunity provisions is the first step to help women rise to important positions. Equal opportunity planning should be based on concrete goals and measures as well as follow-up on their success. Differences in wages between men and women is a challenge specific to women. It is found that women still earns less than men. Discrimination exists in the workplace in various ways. Women employees are still falling prey to it.

WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP

Women empowerment is the major concern of countless political and social discussions, so we must encourage those women who are leading their life individually after facing the difficulties of being a female.

Women leaders are more transformational than men leaders. They function as a role model for their subordinates. Women are now resolved to break the traditional glass ceiling that barred them from entering leadership positions even if they possessed requisite skills and talent to occupy them.  

We should invest in changes that support advancement of women within their organizations and industries, by addressing issues of unconscious bias and enlisting the support of both women and men in developing solutions.
My hope is that we must actually shatter the glass ceiling to grab the accolades and leadership roles that women deserve.”

Leadership is a process of influencing the behavior of people to accomplish an objective and directs the organization in a way that makes it more organized and logical. Leadership is a process whereby an individual influences a group of individuals to achieve a common goal.
A leader should have the ability to maintain good interpersonal relations with the followers or subordinates and motivate them to help in achieving the organizational objectives. They set direction, build an inspiring vision, and create something new. They are the person in the group that possesses the combination of personality and leadership skills to make others want to follow their direction.
According to me, Leadership is both a research area and a practical skill encompassing the ability of an individual or organization to "lead" or guide other individuals.
It is also defined as the capacity to influence a group towards the realization of a goal. Leaders are required to develop future visions, and to motivate the organizational members to want to achieve the visions.
